Creolux: Create Light.

Forrest Morgan - Fine artist, Illustrator.

Iā€™m a fine artist living in Littleton, Colorado. I work in oil paint or colored pencil. My work is realism, generally focused on struggle and transformation. My beliefs run deeply in my work. Every person I draw is in a way a reflection of myself. They are my brothers and sisters. They have individual stories that belong to them and something greater. Something we are all a part of. I believe that which is vast is also deeply in love with the individual.

Artwork is my greatest calling. I believe it can awaken and stir something in each of us that often gets subdued in a noisy, rational, polarized, success-driven culture. It asks us to slow down and breathe it in, let it tell a story, even our stories. It does that for me. It became a soil for me to grow into during difficult times and connects me to my inner child and exposes my demons. It has reached into the darkest parts of who I am and how I see the world, and created something that I understand to be beautiful. Part of my voice is to unveil that darkness which interacts with us, and the hope that pulls us from its depths.

I use primary colors in my work and grey scale to blend, brighten and shade. This allows me to work in layers and mix colors just the way I want to, and creates depth and richness in the color. I do commission work and sell prints and originals.
